The Red Bank
|
|
When the local bank moved to a new premises across the street the McCoys bought the old building in 1983 and created a superb restaurant which is both intimate and relaxed. In 1998 the 12 bedrooms were added with the McCoys sense of style and elegance. Not many restaurants take over banks but happily this one has thrived . The McCoy's named the Restaurant & Guest house after the famed Red Bank near the Rockabill Lighthouse off the coast, where the finest Dublin Bay Prawns are found. It was a happy coincidence that the house was partly built of red brick and had been a bank. All rooms have direct dial telephones, satellite TV. , tea & coffee making facilities & en-suite facilities. Three rooms are on the ground floor and nine rooms are on the second floor. Car parking is available on the wide tree lined street outside and limited parking in the yard.
